A 235A solid-state AC speed controller manages power delivery, while the induction motor itself provides service braking and an automatic electro-magnetic parking brake adds an extra layer of safety. Independent front A-arm coil-over suspension and rear mono-leaf springs with hydraulic shocks keep the ride smooth, with a top speed of 19 mph.
